Snack'n Nap

It's a privilege and honor for me to introduce my  invention.  I'm an advocate of animal rights and a sponsor of the Humane Society in Amarillo, TX.  It is through my  involvement with animal efforts that this evolved.  It is called the Snack'n Nap

Kittens and puppies abandoned as the result of cruelty or neglect still require sustenance.  Unfortunately the bottle alone may not be enough to entice a traumatized animal to nurse enough to survive, so I created the Snack'n Nap.  The Snack'n Nap is a soft donut made of scent collecting fabric which fits snuggly around the bottle and provides a necessary soft surface for a kitten's instinctive kneading behavior.  The kitten's tiny needle like claws knead the Snack'n Nap rather than the caretaker's hands.  The Snack'n Nap soft surface feels like mother and the fabric retains the kitten's scent.  the kitten will return to the bottle that he recognizes.  Bottles have to be washed and therefore lose the kitten's scent which discourages him from nursing.  The Snack'n Nap collects the animal's scent.  The caretaker will also want to purchase a boot for each animal.  The Snack'n Nap comes in many colors for this reason.  The kitten will know which boot belongs to him, but the caretaker may need a mnemonic device such as color.  The brightly colored Snack'n Nap come in pink, blue, tabby, orange, Radar-black and black and white mix, etc. so pet owners, breeders, and caretakers can choose from a variety of kitten colors that will enhance the already photogenic nature of these precious creatures.  Reportedly, kittens that use the Snack'n Nap nurse up to three times longer.  The Snack'n Nap also enhances the bonding process by making it a pleasant experience for both the caretaker and the kitten.  The Snack'n Nap not only makes a pleasant experience, it makes it easier for the animal to nurse providing a comfort grip for the kneading kitten and protection for the caretaker's hands.
